Panthers Designate Ian Thomas, Jaycee Horn To Return From Injured Reserve
one year ago

The Carolina Panthers have designated tight end Ian Thomas (calf) and cornerback Jaycee Horn (hamstring) to return from Injured Reserve this week, which means they will return to the practice field and could be officially activated to come off IR and play in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys. Thomas last played in Week 5 and has missed the required four weeks while on Injured Reserve. The 27-year-old is primarily a blocking specialist, though, and should remain off the fantasy radar. Before his injury, he caught just two passes on four targets for 36 yards. Horn, the former eighth overall pick in 2021, hasn't played since the season opener. The oft-injured 23-year-old would provide the Panthers secondary with a boost, but they'll likely ease him back into the fold. The Panthers will see how both Thomas and Horn look as they return to practice this week.
