Packers Still Evaluating Aaron Jones
one year ago

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike LaFleur said the team is still evaluating running back Aaron Jones (hamstring), but "the encouraging thing is he was able to jog off the field" in the Week 1 win over the division-rival Chicago Bears. Jones injured his left hamstring in the third quarter and never ended up returning to the contest with the game well in hand. His injury doesn't sound serious, but we'll keep a close eye on the Packers' injury report this week. Despite not playing at all in the fourth quarter, the 28-year-old did plenty for his fantasy managers, racking up 41 yards rushing and a touchdown on nine carries while also catching two passes for 86 yards and another TD. If for some reason Jones is out or limited in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons, AJ Dillon would become the team's lead back.
