Packers Defense Better Left On The Waiver Wire In Week 8
one year ago

The Green Bay Packers defense will take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. Last week, the Packers burned plenty of fantasy managers who decided to stream them against the Denver Broncos. The team allowed just 19 points but generated only one sack and failed to force a turnover. Green Bay also came out of that game with a slew of defensive injuries, including safety Darnell Savage and cornerback Eric Stokes being placed on injured reserve. To top it off, the team may be without Jaire Alexander (back) and De'Vondre Campbell (ankle), as both are listed as questionable. In short, this defense is banged up, underperforming, and going against a Minnesota offense that averages 21.6 points scored per game. It would be wise to find a better option off of the waiver wire this week.
