Packers Believe Dontayvion Wicks Has High-Ankle Injury

The Green Bay Packers believe rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) is dealing with a high-ankle injury. Wicks departed during the fourth quarter of Monday's eventual 24-22 loss to the New York Giants and wasn't seen again after being considered questionable for a return. If the fifth-round rookie is indeed dealing with a high-ankle sprain, an extended absence is certainly on the table as a possibility. Wicks tied a season-high figure with six targets in the Week 14 absence of Christian Watson (hamstring), but he only managed two receptions for 20 yards before his night ended. Wicks will likely undergo further testing to determine the full extent of his injury, clouding his availability for Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
