P.J. Walker Throws For 178 Yards In Relief In Week 7
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback P.J. Walker completed 15 of his 32 passes for 178 yards and an interception while adding three yards on three carries in a 39-38 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7. It was Deshaun Watson, not Walker, who got the start in Week 7 but the former left the game for good after his head bounced off the turf on a big hit in the first quarter. Walker came on in relief of Watson and didn't look particularly sharp, but he did enough to lead Cleveland to a wild win in Week 7. Watson's status for a Week 8 road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks is up in the air this early in the week, but Walker would presumably be the starter if Watson can't suit up. Stay tuned.
