No Practice For Zay Jones Thursday

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday. After hurting his hamstring late in the Week 15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Jones is being considered week-to-week and probably isn't going to be ready to play by Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's bad timing for the 28-year-old who has already missed six games in 2023 due to a knee injury. Jones was seeing more targets with Christian Kirk (core) done for the year. With Jones now likely to miss more time, rookie Parker Washington is an interesting waiver-wire pickup, but he won't be all that attractive of a deep-league flex play if quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ankle, concussion) is unable to play this weekend.
