Nick Chubb Seen Without Crutches Or Brace Sunday

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb (knee) was spotted walking around without crutches or a brace on his surgically repaired left knee before Week 15's 20-17 home win over the Chicago Bears. It's an encouraging sign for Chubb, who underwent surgery in mid-September to repair the meniscus and MCL in his left knee after going down with an ugly injury in Week 2. Chubb had another procedure done in mid-November to repair a torn ACL, which was recommended by doctors. There remains no update in terms of a concrete timetable on the 27-year-old's return to the field, however, and this development doesn't affect Chubb's standing in 2023 redraft fantasy leagues. Cleveland announced on Nov. 14 that they expect Chubb to return at some point during the 2024 season, but a lengthy rehab may not allow the four-time Pro Bowler to be ready health-wise when it comes time for Week 1 next fall.
