Nick Chubb Has Successful Second Surgery Tuesday
12 months ago

The Cleveland Browns announced on Tuesday that running back Nick Chubb (knee) had a second successful surgery on his left knee to fix his torn ACL. Chubb's first surgery back on Sept. 29 was to fix his meniscus and MCL. The 27-year-old suffered a brutal season-ending left-knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 18 and will now spent the rest of the year rehabbing to try and make it back in 2024. In his absence, Jerome Ford has taken over as the team's lead back, while Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong Jr. have also seen their roles drastically increase in Cleveland's backfield. It remains to be seen if Chubb will actually be ready for the start of the 2024 regular season next fall.
