Mitch Trubisky Struggles In Week 8 Loss
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 15 of his 27 pass attempts for 138 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a Week 8 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also added 18 rushing yards on three carries. Trubisky took over for the injured Kenny Pickett (ribs) late in the second quarter. Although the 29-year-old struggled for much of the second half, he did lead one successful drive for Pittsburgh that resulted in a 22-yard touchdown pass to George Pickens. If Pickett is unable to suit up in Week 9, Trubisky will likely get the start in a home matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
