Miles Sanders Still Not Practicing On Thursday
one year ago

Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders (shoulder) missed practice on Thursday, making it the second consecutive day the veteran is sitting. Sanders had been battling a groin injury all season but left the Panthers' Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions early after picking up an injury to his shoulder sometime during that game. Sanders is having a rough go of it since joining the Panthers, having been held to less than 200 rushing yards so far this season, topping 50 yards in only one game. Chuba Hubbard has been making the most of his backup role, nearly matching Sanders' production on half the touches. Hubbard is worth an add as he stands to benefit most if Sanders is held out of the Panthers' Week 6 game against the Miami Dolphins.
