Miles Sanders Ruled Out For Week 6
one year ago

The Carolina Panthers have ruled out running back Miles Sanders (shoulder) for the Week 6 game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday due to his shoulder injury. Sanders had been dealing with a nagging groin injury for most of this year, but it hadn't kept him from being active on game days. He will now miss his first game of 2023 and cede lead-back duties to Chuba Hubbard, who has been more efficient than Sanders anyway through the first five weeks. Hubbard will now have RB2 upside in fantasy this week, although poor game script against the high-flying Dolphins could be an issue if the Panthers are forced to abandon the run early. Sanders is averaging a poor 3.1 yards per carry and could find himself behind Hubbard before long if Hubbard continues to outplay him.
