Mike Williams Feared To Have Serious Knee Injury
one year ago

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) may have a serious, potentially season-ending knee injury. Deep into the third quarter, the seventh-year veteran went down clutching his left knee. When he was able to get up off of the field, Williams was unable to put weight on that knee. If an MRI confirms what is feared and Williams is placed on injured reserve, rookie first-round pick Quentin Johnston and third-year receiver Joshua Palmer will step into more playing time. Williams was off to a strong start this season, averaging 83 yards per game on 19 total receptions.
