New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (illness) was limited at practice on Wednesday. The veteran wideout is recovering from an illness, according to head coach Dennis Allen, and he's expected to start participating fully in practice as the week goes on. It sounds like Thomas isn't in any danger of missing the Saints' Week 9 game against the Chicago Bears. Fantasy managers should still keep an eye on his practice status over the next few days, however. For the season, Thomas has 38 catches (61 targets) for 439 yards and one touchdown. He's been remarkably consistent this season and due to his safe floor, he should be viewed as a high-end WR3 on Sunday.
