Michael Mayer Looking To Score Again

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer caught three of his five targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the New York Jets. The rookie tight end tallied five catches on six targets for 75 yards against the Patriots back in Week 6, but he has failed to eclipse 20 receiving yards since. Mayer has eight catches for 62 yards in his last four games combined. Mayer capitalized on his limited opportunities last week, so seeing what he does in Week 11 will be interesting. Mayer and the Raiders face the Miami Dolphins this week. The Dolphins are not an easy matchup, but the Raiders offense could see lots of volume in a game where the Dolphins are favored by nearly two touchdowns. Fantasy managers should not start him this week, but Mayer could make himself a relevant option with a big game in this contest.
