Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer had one catch on two targets for 19 yards in the Week 8 loss to the Detroit Lions. Mayer's fantasy stock appeared to be rising before the Raiders offense collapsed on Monday night. The Raiders face the New York Giants in Week 9. The Giants have been one of the tougher matchups for tight ends, but there is reason for optimism. After the Raiders cleaned house this week, rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell will be the starter.
