Medical Staff Believes Josh Allen Will Play In Week 9
one year ago

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said he's "confident in what the medical team shared with me" that quarterback Josh Allen (shoulder) will be ready to go on Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. McDermott also said that Allen is expected to practice on Thursday after being held out on Wednesday. The 27-year-old will likely be limited in Thursday's session, but it at least puts him back on track to play in Week 9. Allen initially injured his throwing shoulder in the Week 6 win over the New York Giants, but he hasn't missed any time yet and should be out there on Sunday night as a must-start QB1 in all fantasy lineups. UPDATE: Allen returned to a full practice Thursday.
