Mason Rudolph To Start Against Bengals

With Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett (ankle) officially being ruled out for Week 16, Mason Rudolph will make his first start of the year on Saturday against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals with Mitch Trubisky backing him up, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. The Steelers were leaving the door open for Pickett to return after missing the last two games due to a high-ankle sprain, but he just wasn't ready to go this weekend. This will be the 28-year-old Rudolph's first start in two seasons, so fantasy managers desperate for a second QB in superflex leagues shouldn't be expecting too much. Pickett will be hoping to make more progress and be cleared to start for the Steelers in a Week 17 matchup in Seattle against the Seahawks.
