Veteran free-agent kicker Mason Crosby is signing to the Los Angeles Rams practice squad. The Rams intend to elevate him to the active roster in the near future. Los Angeles has struggled with field goal kicking this year. Brett Maher made 17 of his 23 attempts, and Lucas Havrisik has made five of his seven attempts since taking over the job. Crosby is a 16-year NFL veteran and has connected on 395 of his 485 field goal attempts and 733 of his 753 extra point tries. He is the Green Bay Packers' all-time leading scorer by a wide margin.
