Marvin Mims Jr. Shows Off Big-Play Abilities Again
one year ago

The Denver Broncos were embarrassed on Sunday in a record-breaking 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, but rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. was a bright spot for the second straight week thanks to his big-play ability. Mims caught three of his five targets for 73 yards on offense and also returned two kickoffs for 121 yards and a touchdown. The 21-year-old had one carry for a three-yard gain. His kickoff return for a TD probably didn't count in most fantasy leagues, but it's just another reminder that this young pass-catcher has the ability to make noise in deep fantasy leagues in 2023 because of his big-play abilities. Mims is worth a pickup off the waiver wire if you need an explosive playmaker in a flex spot. His role in the offense so far has left a lot to be desired, but that could change in a hurry if he continues to deliver on his limited opportunities deep down the field.
