Martavis Bryant Reinstated Saturday
one year ago

Veteran wide receiver Martavis Bryant, who last played in the NFL in 2018, has been reinstated by commissioner Roger Goodell and is drawing interest from teams, according to his agent, James Peterson. The 31-year-old Bryant has been training for a comeback and played in the XFL last summer after he was suspended indefinitely from the NFL back in 2020. Bryant also played in the Canadian Football League in 2021 to stay sharp. In his four NFL seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Raiders, he caught 145 passes for 2,183 yards (15.1 yards per catch) and 17 touchdowns on 251 targets over 44 games (18 starts). The big-play wideout had a nose for the end zone, but he's probably a long shot to become a significant part of any team's offense in the second half of the season if he is picked up.
