Cleveland Browns wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (illness) did not participate in Thursday's practice. Goodwin has popped up on the injury report with an illness after dealing with a back injury ahead of Week 8's 24-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The veteran speedster could be starting at an expanded role after the Browns dealt vertical threat Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Detroit Lions at Tuesday's trade deadline. Goodwin's snap share is a barely-there 13.7% figure and he has just three catches (nine targets) for 10 yards in seven games this year, but he figures to see some extra chances at deep targets in Cleveland's run-heavy offense during the campaign's second half. It's unlikely to be enough to get the 32-year-old onto fantasy radars in Week 9 versus the Arizona Cardinals, provided that he is active on Sunday in the first place.
