Marcus Williams To Miss Time With Pec Injury
one year ago

Baltimore Ravens safety Marcus Williams (pectoral) injured his pectoral muscle in the Week 1 win over the Houston Texans and is expected to be out for a while, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The injury may not be season-ending, but Williams is considering surgery. The surgery route would keep the 27-year-old out even longer, and it remains to be seen when he'll be able to rejoin Baltimore's secondary. Either way, Williams' injury is a key blow to a thin Ravens secondary early in the 2023 regular season. Expect to see former third-rounder Brandon Stephens step into Williams' starting free-safety role in Week 2 on the road in Cincinnati against the Bengals.
