Mac Jones To Remain Starting Quarterback
one year ago

According to Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Mac Jones will remain the team's starter. The signal-caller was pulled from Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints after going 12-for-22 for 110 yards and two interceptions, opening the door for Bailey Zappe to take over for the second straight week. However, Zappe didn't play much better, going 3-for-9 for 22 yards. Belichick dismissed Jones as the sole reason for the team's struggles while speaking to the media postgame, stating, "it certainly wasn't all on him." That said, Jones keeping his job doesn't mean he should be featured in any fantasy lineups moving forward, so he's not worth starting in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
