New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is coming off a disappointing season in 2022 and will look to turn the page in 2023, starting in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones threw for 2,997 yards with 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while rushing for 102 yards and a score over 14 games last season. Jones looked good and made a lot of improvements this offseason. "Mac's had a good offseason and has had a really good camp," Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said. "He understands the offense -- how it works, how to get his teammates involved, how to help them be productive. So he's had a really good stretch here; it's been consistent all the way through."The 25-year-old faces a daunting Eagles defense that ranked first in pass DVOA in 2022. Fantasy managers looking for a streamer can look elsewhere, as Jones is mainly a desperation play in superflex leagues only.
