Latavius Murray‘s Goal-Line Role Keeps Him Relevant
one year ago

Buffalo Bills running back Latavius Murray appears to have leapfrogged Damien Harris as the squad's primary change-of-pace runner behind starter James Cook. The 33-year-old has out-snapped Harris in three straight weeks, leading the Bills backfield with eight red-zone touches this season. With no greater than eight overall touches or 31 total yards in any of these three contests, however, Murray remains one of fantasy's most touchdown-dependent RB4/FLEX desperation plays behind the hyper-efficient Cook in Week 4 versus the Miami Dolphins. Cook could start eating into Murray's high-value touches if he maintains his strong early-season play, but Murray is at least the preferred Buffalo handcuff to roster over Harris at the moment.
