Latavius Murray An RB4 Gamble Versus Giants
one year ago

Buffalo Bills running back Latavius Murray remains a fantasy-relevant name based on his role in two-minute drills and propensity to vulture goal-line touchdowns. Murray took six red-zone carries across Weeks 2 and 3 but has zero over the subsequent two games to go with six total handles during this span. The 33-year-old plodder is not someone fantasy managers should desire in season-long lineups, but he does possess some semblance of theoretical upside in a Week 6 setting featuring the Bills as two-touchdown favorites versus the New York Giants. Murray is as TD-reliant as they come, and those in dire straits would likely need Buffalo to get out to a lead for the veteran power back to stand much chance in cobbling together RB4/flex numbers. Keep him on benches as a handcuff under most circumstances, but Murray could take on some more usage depending on the availability of tight ends Dalton Kincaid (concussion) and Dawson Knox (wrist).
