Lamar Jackson Showing Improved Leadership
12 months ago

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has shown noticeably improved leadership this year. "He's evolving," a team source said. "There's a different air about him, with better communication." Jackson has been emboldened by his new five-year, $260 million extension while also working with new offensive coordinator Todd Monken. He has also been more aggressive checking into plays he likes, which helps coaches discover more about him and his preferences. Baltimore's offense is up nearly 33 yards per game from last year, but Jackson must improve his fourth-quarter play -- since the 2021 season, he leads all QBs in fourth-quarter or overtime turnovers with 12. The loss of tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) hurts, but Jackson should remain a high-end QB1 in fantasy the rest of the way.
