Kyren Williams To Miss Week 7, Considered Week-To-Week
one year ago

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams (ankle) will miss Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and head coach Sean McVay indicates Williams is week-to-week. The Rams are currently discussing whether to place Williams on Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games. LA just placed Ronnie Rivers (knee) on IR and already traded Cam Akers to the Vikings earlier this year, so their backfield is currently in shambles. The 23-year-old Williams deserves to be stashed everywhere until he returns. In the meantime, rookie Zach Evans figures to be the first man up this weekend against Pittsburgh, but recent additions Royce Freeman, Darrell Henderson and Myles Gaskin could also be involved.
