Kyren Williams Returning To Practice, Expected To Play In Week 12
12 months ago

The Los Angeles Rams officially designated running back Kyren Williams (ankle) to return to practice on Wednesday and he is expected to come off Injured Reserve and play in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Williams sprained his left ankle in Week 6 but has spent the required four games on IR and is apparently ready to return to action this Sunday. In the 23-year-old's absence, the Rams were rolling with Darrell Henderson Jr. and Royce Freeman in their backfield. As a sign that the team fully expects Williams to be ready this weekend, they released Henderson on Tuesday. Williams was operating as the Rams' clear lead back before his injury, and he should return to that role sooner than later. He needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats.
