Kyren Williams Leads Rams In Rushing, Sores Two Touchdowns
one year ago

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams had a big day in the team's 30-13 Week 1 upset on the road over the division-rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Williams finished the day with 15 carries for a team-high 52 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground and whiffed on both of his targets through the air. Williams had seven fewer carries than starter Cam Akers, but Akers produced 1.3 yards per carry on his team-leading 22 rushing attempts in this one. The 23-year-old probably isn't going to see 15-plus carries per week -- the blowout nature of this game certainly helped his cause -- but he's worth a waiver-wire addition for RB depth or if you have Akers rostered.
