Kyren Williams Going For MRI Monday
one year ago

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in the Week 6 win over the Arizona Cardinals despite rushing for a career-high 158 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Williams didn't have a boot on when he left the stadium but he is going for an MRI exam on Monday. We'll keep a close eye on the 23-year-old's MRI results. It doesn't sound as though Williams' injury is too serious, but he could still be in danger of missing the Week 7 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Backup Ronnie Rivers (knee) is also dealing with a PCL sprain and could miss time going forward. It means that rookie Zach Evans is worth a speculative waiver-wire pickup in deeper leagues for those that have Williams rostered or are desperate for RB help.
