Kyler Murray's Attitude Has Changed
one year ago

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) was at odds with former head coach Kliff Kingsbury last year before he suffered a torn ACL in Week 14, and there were also reports that surfaced that the front office wasn't happy with his lack of preparation before games. However, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Murray has been quite different this year and is much more engaged while trying to learn the ins and outs of new head coach Jonathan Gannon's offense. The 26-year-old's return to practice in recent weeks has also been a positive for the team, and now he's on the cusp of making his 2023 debut in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday. The Cardinals could be getting lead running back James Conner (knee) back from Injured Reserve as well. Murray might be rusty initially and shouldn't be considered a must-start QB1 in Week 10, but he surely will bring much more upside to this offense moving forward.
