Khalil Shakir Not A Recommended Streamer

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir pinged the fantasy radar when tight end Dawson Knox (wrist, IR) went down with a wrist injury after the Week 7 road loss to the New England Patriots. Shakir has played at least 64.7% of Buffalo's offensive snaps in each outing since Knox went on the mend, most recently participating in a career-high 75.9% in the rough Week 10 defeat to the Denver Broncos. Shakir next squares off with an intimidating New York Jets defense on Sunday that's stifled WRs for the fewest fantasy points per game (22.1). Gang Green has been no more generous to slot men, permitting a miniscule 5.6 points per game from the slot, per Razzball. The 23-year-old is on the low-end streaming map for his role in three-receiver sets on a high-octane Bills offense with Knox out, but Shakir is no greater than a WR4/flex dart throw in a rigid Week 11 setup.
