Khalil Herbert To Miss Several Weeks
one year ago

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (ankle) is expected to miss several weeks after suffering a concerning injury in Thursday's win over the Washington Commanders, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Herbert departed that contest after rushing 10 times for 76 yards, and although he said postgame that he was "fine," the injury appears to be more serious than the running back initially implied. Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) also exited the victory with their own respective injuries, which means D'Onta Foreman could suddenly go from inactive in Week 5 to being a starter in Week 6.
