Khalil Herbert Says He'll Be "Fine"
one year ago

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (ankle) said after the Thursday night win over the Washington Commanders that he'll be "fine" after he injured his ankle in the 40-20 victory. Herbert wouldn't specify the nature of his injury but admitted it looked bad. Before leaving the game, he had 10 carries for 76 yards. Rookie Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) were also injured in the game, leaving Khari Blasingame as the only RB left to close out Thursday night's affair. The good news is they all have extra time to heal before a Week 6 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, but we'll keep a close eye on the health of Chicago's backfield leading up to that game. It's possible that D'Onta Foreman will be forced onto the active game-day roster.
