Khalil Herbert Placed On Injured Reserve

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (ankle) has been placed on the injured reserve on Friday. This news comes after Herbert suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Week 5 win over the Washington Commanders. This is bad timing with Roschon Johnson (concussion) also sidelined as well this week. That means, D'Onta Freeman is likely to start against the Minnesota Vikings this week. He could have some streaming appeal for fantasy managers desperate for help at running back. Johnson should retake the starting gig once he's back to full health.
