Khalil Herbert Cleared To Return Against Lions
12 months ago

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (ankle, shin) practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and has been removed from the final injury report for Week 11 against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Bears are fully expected to officially activate Herbert from Injured Reserve on Saturday after he missed the last five games due to a high-ankle sprain. D'Onta Foreman (ankle), who has been effective as Chicago's lead back with Herbert out, is questionable to play this weekend, which further clouds this backfield in Week 11. Herbert opened the year as the Bears' lead back, but Foreman has earned a bigger role next to Herbert when he's healthy. The Bears' backfield is trending towards being one to avoid from a fantasy perspective against Detroit.
