Kenny Pickett Injured, Replaced By Mitch Trubisky
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett exited during the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had completed 10 of 16 passes for 73 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero turnovers prior to his departure. The Steelers didn't provide an immediate update on the second-year quarterback's injury, but it appeared to be of the upper-body variety. Pickett was favoring his rib and shoulder area and appeared to be in serious pain while heading to the locker room. Mitch Trubisky, whose only game action this season came back in Week 4, took over at quarterback and will remain under center for the duration of Pickett's absence.
