Kenny Pickett Draws Tough Matchup In Season Opener

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett will open his second professional season in a Week 1 home matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Pickett showed signs of great improvement throughout the preseason but will have his work cut out for him against a stout 49ers defense that allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in 2022. Although Pickett's fantasy output will be worth monitoring in the coming weeks, he should only be considered viable in superflex formats as a low-end QB2 on Sunday.
