Kenny Pickett Able To Practice On Limited Basis
11 months ago

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett (ankle) put in a limited practice on Tuesday and went through drills as the fourth QB, following Mason Rudolph, Mitch Trubisky and Trace McSorley. Pickett has missed the last two games after suffering a right high-ankle sprain in Week 13 that required tightrope surgery. The Steelers are planning to start Rudolph on Saturday against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals, but head coach Mike Tomlin isn't ruling Pickett out just yet. The 25-year-old gives the Steelers the best chance to win and they are desperate for wins with a 7-7 record and currently outside the AFC playoff picture, but all signs currently point to Rudolph making the start on Saturday. Pittsburgh's offense is likely to continue to struggle to sustain drives with Rudolph under center. He's a desperation low-end QB2 in superflex leagues against Cincy.
