Kenneth Walker III Not A Candidate For Injured Reserve
12 months ago

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Monday that the team doesn't consider running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) to be a candidate to go on Injured Reserve at this time, but the Seahawks need to learn more about his injury before figuring out how long he will be sidelined. An IR stint would require Walker to miss at least four games, which would be a big blow to fantasy managers. At the very least, Walker probably will not be able to play this Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers. The 23-year-old could easily still miss multiple games. If rookie Zach Charbonnet is available in your league, pick him up immediately. He's in line to serve as Seattle's lead back if Walker misses any time, with DeeJay Dallas and Kenny McIntosh settling in behind him. However, this week's matchup against San Francisco's defense is a shy-away one.
