Kenneth Walker III Finds Paydirt Against Eagles
11 months ago

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III took 19 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 26 receiving yards in Monday's 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Walker looked stuck in the mud in the first half, generating just three yards per carry, but things improved after halftime. The second-year back was involved in the first four consecutive plays of the third quarter and then capped the drive with a 23-yard touchdown run, adding 55 scrimmage yards to his total on that possession alone. His 22 touches beat out Zach Charbonnet, who had just four carries in Week 15, giving the impression that Walker is recovered from his oblique injury and ready to take the reins as the Seahawks' primary running back. Next on deck is the Tennessee Titans in Week 16 who have allowed 120.3 rushing yards per game over the last three weeks.
