Kenneth Walker III A Possible RB2 In Week 9
one year ago

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (calf) finished Week 8 with a season-low eight carries but still racked up 66 rushing yards, thanks in large part to a 45-yard jaunt in the first quarter. It was the first game in which he was outsnapped by rookie Zach Charbonnet who himself gained 64 scrimmage yards on seven total touches. Walker was dealing with an injury to his calf coming into the game which is the likeliest culprit for his lack of production. The 23-year-old has been able to practice this week without limitation which is a good sign, though in Week 9 he will be facing a Baltimore Ravens defense that has allowed just three rushing touchdowns this season. Walker will regain his position as Seattle's primary back on Sunday, but against Baltimore's stingy defense fantasy managers shouldn't expect more than an RB2 finish.
