Kendrick Bourne Finds The End Zone Twice In Week 1
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne caught six of 11 targets for 64 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. With Tyquan Thornton (shoulder) and DeVante Parker (knee) sidelined, Bourne moved up the wide receiver depth chart as New England's WR2 behind only JuJu Smith-Schuster. The 28-year-old led the team in targets, and quarterback Mac Jones found Bourne for a pair of touchdowns (19, 11) in the Week 1 loss. He averaged 5.8 yards per target and 10.7 yards per reception. Bourne and Jones showed great chemistry on Sunday, and the duo will look to build on Week 1's performance in the Week 2 matchup against the Dolphins.
