Keenan Allen Listed As DNP Tuesday

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (heel) was listed as a non-participant at the team's practice on Tuesday. Allen was seen working on a side field with trainers during practice, but he officially was listed as a DNP for the first session of the week. The 31-year-old was ruled out of last Thursday's beatdown at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders, and it's unclear if he may need to miss another contest this Saturday against the Buffalo Bills with the Chargers out of playoff contention. Wednesday's practice will be much more important for Allen, so if he misses that, there's a much better chance he'll sit out a second straight game. If Allen is inactive in Week 16, Joshua Palmer, rookie first-rounder Quentin Johnston and Jalen Guyton will operate in three-receiver sets for the second straight week. Both Palmer and Johnston found the end zone last Thursday.
