Keenan Allen Has An Enormous Game In Week 10
one year ago

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen had a huge game in a Week 10 loss to the Detroit Lions. Allen was targeted 14 times, making 11 catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He was forced to leave the game for a bit in the second half, but was able to return and scored his second touchdown after his time off. Allen was making all kinds of catches in this one and scored his touchdowns from 29 yards out in the second quarter and from 38 yards out in the fourth. All of that and an excellent performance from quarterback Justin Herbert still wasn't enough to overcome the Chargers defense and Brandon Staley's play calling though, as the Chargers ultimately lost 41-38. Allen will be a locked in WR1 option in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers assuming no aggravation of his injury, although the team does not seem concerned at all.
