Keaontay Ingram Misses Practice
one year ago

Arizona Cardinals running back Keaontay Ingram (neck) was unable to practice on Wednesday. Ingram was unable to play in the Week 4 loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday after showing up on the injury report last Thursday, and he's off to a bad start so far this week heading into the Week 5 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals. If the 23-year-old cannot get back on the practice field this week and misses a second straight game, undrafted rookie Emari Demercado will likely serve as James Conner's backup once again. Demercado saw just one carry for three yards and caught three of his four targets for 21 yards in last Sunday's 35-16 loss to the Niners on the road. Through three games in 2023, Ingram has only 12 carries for 15 yards and one catch for an eight-yard gain.
