Keaontay Ingram Listed As Cardinals RB1
one year ago

Arizona Cardinals running back Keaontay Ingram (neck) has missed the team's last two games against the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals with a neck injury. However, he could return this week against the Los Angeles Rams and is listed as the team's starting running back over rookie Emari Demercado on the team's official website. James Conner (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve, so touches are up for grabs in his absence, which will be at least four games. Ultimately, Ingram and Demercado are likely to split touches, so both are worth picking up off the waiver wire. If Ingram is not fully back from his injury, Demercado is likely the running back to start in fantasy lineups. That said, the Rams have allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs thus far, so there's no guarantee that either Arizona running back will find success in this matchup.
