Kareem Jackson Suspended Again

Denver Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson was suspended without pay for four games by the NFL for repeated violations of playing rules intended to protect the health and safety of players, including a vicious hit on Minnesota Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs on Sunday night. Jackson served a two-game suspension in Weeks 8 and 9. The Broncos had a bye in Week 10, so Sunday's game was Jackson's first contest back. The hit in question wasn't flagged as a penalty during the game and led to one of Denver's three turnovers in the 21-20 win. Jackson is appealing his latest suspension, which means he could be active for Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns. Losing the 35-year-old for any amount of time again would be a blow to a Broncos defense that has been solid during their four-game winning streak.
