Kareem Jackson's Four-Game Suspension Upheld
12 months ago

Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson's four-game suspension for violating the league's player-safety rules was upheld by hearing officer Derrick Brooks, who was appointed by the NFL and Players Association, on Tuesday. It's the second suspension for Jackson this year after he lowered his head on a hard hit of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs on Sunday night in Week 11. The 35-year-old will now begin serving his second suspension of the year in Week 12 as the team faces the Cleveland Browns. Jackson has 51 tackles (36 solo) and two interceptions in eight starts this year, so he will be a big loss for a defense that has made a huge turnaround this year after giving up a record-breaking 70 points to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3.
